After upgrading to Senergy from File System Factory 3.x, new events (especially user creates and moves) are 'stuck' on the Pending Events queue. The "Last Error" field in the event details dialog shows an error "169 : The requested name translation could not be performed."
This commonly happens when the following conditions are met:
- The previously-existing proxy account was moved or renamed during the upgrade process.
- Some or all policies defined in Senergy set the proxy account or the proxy rights group as the default owner of provisioned folders.
When the owner override option in a policy is enabled, the object defined as the default owner is stored as a string (by FDN). If this object is renamed (or deleted), that object cannot be found in Active Directory by its previous FDN.
These steps must be taken for each policy meeting the conditions specified above.
If the default owner object was moved or renamed, edit the Owner Override option and select the object by its new name or location in your Active Directory organizational structure. Once selected, save the policy. Then, make the stuck events for this policy eligible.
If the default owner object was deleted, edit the Owner Override option and select a new default owner object (if desired). Once selected, save the policy. Then, make the stuck events for this policy eligible.
