These instructions assume that you've already received an updated license file for File System Factory. If you haven't, please see these instructions for getting a new license file.
License file is about to expire
In the FSF Admin client, click on the Configure tab. Then click on Engine Config > License Update.
Click 'Browse', find and select your new FSF license file, and click 'Open'. Review the license file details, and click 'Upload'. If successful, you should receive a confirmation message. No restart of the File System Factory Engine service is required.
License file has already expired
Once your File System Factory license expires, the Engine service will stop. At this point, replacing the license file must be done through the file system.
In Windows Explorer, open %ProgramData%\Condrey Corporation\File System Factory\Engine\config. Rename or delete the existing fsf.lic file in this directory. Then copy your new license file into this directory and rename it to fsf.lic.
Once the new fsf.lic file is in place, start the File System Factory Engine service. (TIP: Wait a few moments and refresh the Services list to make certain that the Engine detects and validates the license file. If the Engine service stops, make certain the license file has been renamed to fsf.lic and is in the correct directory.) Once the Engine service is running, FSF operations should resume normally.
